We are Aqlaar Tech, a consulting and technology services firm designed to guide businesses through the increasingly complex and uncertain landscape of digital transformation. Leveraging the experiences from over a dozen countries for over 27 years, our team accepts nuances from different cultures and histories; understand process complexities in businesses of varying sizes; and deeply appreciate impacts of the digital tectonic shifts that organisations and individuals have to tide over, in today's AI-First world. We make and keep three simple promises in all our engagements: - Keep it real: Transformations succeed or fail due to clarity or the lack of it. We insist on working closely with cross-functional teams to understand the organisation's ontology including the teleological gaps between business objectives, operational processes, and stakeholder actions to ensure that we all agree on the "Definition of Done" when we start, and that we are actually "Done" successfully at the end.- Work with empathy: Beyond the contracts, from strategy to production, we wear the customer's badge to unearth, and deliver, value for each stake-holder that is impacted by the transformation.- Deliver measurable outcomes: We firmly believe that transformations need to be tied to tangible business outcomes measured through KRAs and KPIs. Irrespective of contractual terms, we strive towards delivering them. We look forward to guiding enterprises that need partners that listen, observe and comprehend the organisation's ontology, design transformation roadmap, and lead the implementation.
What drives us
ONTOLOGY And TELEOLOGY
As the enterprises struggle with the question of when and how to plunge into the world of AI agents, our firm belief is in the need to unearth the organisation's Ontology (what the organisation "is", what the systems "are", and what its processes "do") as well as the Teleology (the purpose for the organisation and each process/ stakeholder including those constrained by current capabilities). We unearth the organisation's and its systems' ontology and teleology with the help of our proprietary tools fashioned after industry processes, and help draw the transformation roadmap within the context of the organisation and its market.
pragmatism
In today's VUCA world with AI's impact felt in every sphere of life, FOMO and FOF co-exist in every technology leader's mind. At this time, when almost every enterprise suffers from the AI imposter syndrome, we firmly believe that the one key principle that would stand us in good stead, is Pragmatism. The transformation roadmap for the enterprise, must be a pragmatic one following the basic principle of Agile, which is to align with the changing business needs with "a sense of urgency", which indicates the need for a flexible and nimble framework that aims for long term success through incremental progress.

Actions
It goes without saying that the only way forward for every enterprise irrespective of size or domain in the AI-First times, is to Act. While we get the pragmatic plan ready, it is imperative that it is put into motion. While the transformation roadmap would be an agile one, the user stories to be prioritised for implementation need to be chosen with a pragmatic balance considering aspects like enterprise risk against incremental value and loss of opportunities in revenue and margins if not implemented. We would guide this prioritisation exercise with our value-maps that help quantify the value against the risks and costs.
Detailing
Plans and actions for transformation risk failure even before the first day of any project, if the historical data on transformation programs are considered. The trend has continued for AI initiatives. It is our firm understanding that the real culprit is short-cuts that circumvent the first principles. We guide enterprises to define the ontology and teleology, the pragmatic transformation plan, the prioritised actions/ user stories, and the detailed delivery plans across each phase from environment set up to design to build to deploy to operate and maintain, with the success criteria defined for each step unambiguously for humans and AI agents to understand equally well.

How we deliver

Our team consists of senior consultants that have led large digital transformation programs across the world; technology SMEs that build systems for today's Digital-First enterprises nimbly - assisted by Gen AI, but with assured security; and creatives that understand business, technology, and aesthetics alike. Together, we deliver results.
